Food For Thought An estimated 100 billion pounds of food, enough to totally eliminate hunger, is thrown away annually in the United States. It does not have to be this way - and you can help. Your support of the AmpleHarvest.org Campaign helps many more food pantries receive fresh produce - improving community health while also helping the environment.

What Information We Collect and How We Use That Information:
Our registration forms require food pantries to give us contact information that may include name, address, and other information needed to enable gardeners to contact and locate a pantry. You are encouraged but not required to include your e-mail address to make it easier for growers to contact you. If you provide an email address, AmpleHarvest.org will also use it both to confirm your registration and activation to you and to send you periodic updates about the AmpleHarvest.org service. You may choose to not receive the updates or to stop receving them at anytime by sending a request to customer service at info@AmpleHarvest.org.
You may also optionally upload a photograph of your food pantry. By uploading or emailing a photograph to the Site, you confirm that:
We do not collect or store sensitive information such as credit card or social security numbers.
Internet Protocol Address:
An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet. We do monitor and retain the IP address from visitors to our Site who are registering a new food pantry to determine the the location (country) the visitor is located in as part of our effort to assure that only food pantries based in the United States are added to the Site. The web hosting service we use does store the IP address in its server logs. You may want to visit http://www.fatcow.com/legal/legal_privacy.bml to view how the hosting service uses your IP information.
Use of "Cookies":
